KidsBox and Games Box
KidsBoxes (mobile children's rooms) and a Games Box can be borrowed at the different TUM locations. These are ideal for looking after children in emergencies and outside of regular care hours or to accompany events (conferences/workshops) at the university.
KidsBox
The KidsBox is a fully equipped moveable children’s room in which the child can play, but also rest, while the present parent is working or learning for the next exam. Therefore, the KidsBox is perfect to bridge a period without suitable child care.
KidsBoxes can be loaned to interested members of the respective schools and, on request, also to members of other TUM organisational units. Overview of available KidsBoxes at the different TUM locations
Games Box
The TUM Family Service Games Box can be used for short-term childcare needs and can also be borrowed for events if accompanying childcare is planned on university premises. The Games Box can be picked up at Barer Str. 21 in Munich (the location of TUM Family Service) and easily transported to the “place of use”. The Games Box can also be lend to the other TUM locations. The toys in the games box are suitable also for older children (until the age of 12 years). Kontakt
