We offer you a comprehensive range of information, advice and services on the compatibility of career or study and family life at TUM. In Munich, Garching and Weihenstephan we can support you, for example, finding suitable regular childcare (from nurseries to afterschool care), as well as flexible childcare options (babysitter) or helping you to make arrangements for family members in need of care. However, you will also receive initial information related to the other university locations (Straubing, Heilbronn and Ottobrunn) and we will be happy to refer you to our TUM colleagues and network partners on site.
Life plans are as diverse as the people at our university – this is also reflected in the ways family is lived and understood. We support all family forms and offer counseling regardless of gender, sexual orientation, or family constellation. You can find more information here.
