There are some international schools located in Munich and the surrounding area. The Referat für Bildung und Sport (Department of Education and Sports) of the City of Munich provides advice on the range of schools and types of education that are on offer. Private bilingual and international schools charge fees (some very high) and it is therefore advisable to obtain informaton in advance.
Multilingual classes and international diplomas enable older students to accompany their parents to Munich and successfully continue and complete their education.
Please be aware that international schools may differ from the vacation times and curriculum offered by the regular Bavarian schools. Detailed information can be obtained from the individual schools.
