The German Diversity Day takes place every year since the initiation through the association Charta der Vielfalt e.V. This year, we celebrate the TUM Diversity Week from May 13 to 17, 2024 and set the focus on age diversity.
TUM was the first university to sign the Charta of Diversity in 2007. With this act TUM committed itself to create a working space which is free of prejudices and exclusion. A working culture, which is open and based on respect, is supported.
TUM Diversity Week – How can you participate?
Start your own campaign for diversity and tolerance around the TUM Diversity Week from May 13th to 17th and raise awareness among students, employees, colleagues or the public about the topic of diversity, especially with regard to age diversity, at TUM!
Organize e.g. a discussion group on the topic of age diversity or a topic-specific workshop. Or implement a photo or video campaign with your employees. Every action contributes to making our common concern visible and tangible. Age diversity can refer to a specific age group, to (supposed) generational differences or topics that are particularly relevant at a certain age phase.
Please contact us if you need support and even if you have already planned an action. We will collect all activities at TUM centrally and register them with the Diversity Charter, so that you will receive media support in addressing your target group.
