As a TUM employee, you have the opportunity to register your child for a place in Friedrich-Schiedel-Kindergarten (Richard-Wagner-Str. 14, near TUM main campus). Half of the approximately 50 places are available to TUM employees. The kindergarten is operated by the City of Munich.

To register, please do following:

1. Online registration for the facility (Municipal Kindergarden at Richard-Wagner-Str. 14) via the plattform of the city of Munich kitafinder +.
    
2. Email to Friedrich Schiedel Kindergarten with the following information:

• full name of both parents
• name and date of birth of the child
• fact that you are employed at TUM
• information that you have already registered online via kita finder+

Recommended: More information (e.g. regarding pedagogical concept, waiting list and chances for a childcare place) and visit (by appointment) during the weekly consultation hours of the kindergarten, usually on Tuesday afternoons. See also here.
