Information about the facility: Infanterix Garching Daycare
- Please note the registration conditions to childcare facilities of TUM and Studentenwerk München.
- Parents need to reside in Bavaria.
- Application is possible during pregnancy since daycare is available for children starting at the age of 6 months.
- Childcare take place on 5 days/week (number of care hours can be booked flexibly, min. 4-5 hours/day)
- Please submit your complete application (application form is available at TUM Family Service) and requested documents (copy of TUM-contract, certificate of TUM-external employment, including office hours and limitation of contract) by email to TUM Family Service.
- Upon receipt and review of the application package, applicants will receive a confirmation of registration by email.
- Confirmation of interest in a childcare place is required once a year. In December, all applicants on the waiting list will receive an email from TUM Family Service, asking for confirmation. Your application will be cancelled if TUM Family Service does not receive feedback within the mentioned period.
- !!!IMPORTANT!!! Please register also directly at Infanterix (operator of the facility).
- Places will be allocated throughout the year, usually with childcare start in September each year.
- It is possible to choose a desired start date throughout the year, since places may be vacant during the year due to cancellation (e.g. a family is moving).
- Placement is based on regulations of TUM daycare facilities, provided by Studentenwerk München.
- Parents who accept the placement have to sign an agreement with TUM.
- Childcare costs depend on the total booking hours.
- Financial support for a childcare place only after individual review by TUM Family Service.
