Flexible childcare outside TUM

The Netzwerk Geburt und Familie e.V. association provides a mobile care service. It includes childcare and home help for families in Munich, for example mothers who are pregnant for a second time or for if a parent falls ill.

Leihomaservice München is a “rent-a-grandmother” scheme with experienced child-minders who can work flexible hours. There is a similar scheme for grandfathers called Oma-Opa-Service offered by the Evangelical-Lutheran deanery of Munich.

Some Eltern-Kind-Zentren, in addition to their open café get-togethers and playgroups, also offer flexible childcare or mini-childcare centers with supervision provided at most once a week.
