Application is possible during pregnancy since this daycare is available for children starting at the age of 9 weeks.
The offered places are fulltime places, i.e. daycare 5 days per week at least 8 hours per day.
Please submit your complete registration (application forms are available at the TUM Family Service) and requested documents (copy of TUM-contract, certificate of TUM-external employment, including office hours and limitation of contract) by email to TUM Family Service.
Upon receipt and review of the application package, applicants will receive a confirmation of registration by email.
!!!IMPORTANT!!! Please register for a daycare place at R.U.F. Mäuse additionally via the online plattform kita finder + of the city of Munich. In case you would like to visit the daycare center please arrange an appointment withe the Agency R.U.F. beforehand (Tel.: 089/91072424, E-Mail: ruf@ruf-muc.de).
Confirmation of interest in a daycare place is required once a year. In December, all applicants on the waiting list will receive an email from TUM Family Service, asking for confirmation. Your application will be cancelled if TUM Family Service does not receive feedback within the mentioned period.
Places for the next daycare period (usually starting in September) will be allocated in January/February, subsequent to the feedback-time.
It is possible to choose a desired start date throughout the year, since places may be vacant during the year due to cancellation (e.g. a family is moving).
Placement is based on regulations of TUM daycare facilities, provided by Studentenwerk München.
Parents who accept the placement have to sign a memorandum of understanding and supply a 400 EUR security deposit at TUM Family Service. The deposit will be returned within 8 weeks after the start at the daycare center. If the place is eventually refused, the deposit is retained.
!!!IMPORTANT!!! In case you accept the placement it is additionally necessary to consider following: From April on via the online plattform kita finder+ you will receive an official confirmation for the daycare place from the agency R.U.F., which you need to accept within the appointed time.
The R.U.F.-Mäuse Day Nursery has joined the City of Munich's funding system (from 01.09.2024: deficit equalization procedure). The fees are based on the fee table of the City of Munich
