The Munich Student Union maintains apartments that are specially adapted to suit the needs of disabled students. Pfennigparade München rents barrier-free apartments for physically disabled people.

Barrier-free Access to Public Transport

The MVG provides comprehensive information on barrier-free access in Munich's public transport system (in German).

Disabled Person's Card

If the degree of disability is 50% or more (a severe disability), the person can apply for a disabled person's card at the Bavarian Center for Families and Social Affairs (ZBFS). This card includes a special protection against dismissal and card holders can use the local public transport system for free.
