TUM Diversity Week – How can you participate?
Life is more than a schedule. It’s a system of interconnected roles and responsibilities, purposes and passions.
During this year’s TUM Diversity Week from June 8-12, we invite you to explore what true integration really means in today’s world. Beyond balancing work and family, we will look at the full spectrum of life: research and study, work and career, relationships and caregiving, health and hobbies, personal growth and community.
Academic excellence does not exist in isolation. It is shaped by the conditions in which we live, work, and collaborate.
- How do we navigate competing expectations?
- How do we create space for what (and who) matters to us?
- And how can our TUM culture support sustainable, multidimensional lives?
TUM Diversity Week is not just a series of events – it is a shared space for dialogue and reflection, and an open invitation to engage.
We encourage you to:
- Join our sessions, workshops, and discussions
- Share your experiences and perspectives through your own proposed event format
- Contribute as a speaker, facilitator, or host
Diversity thrives when we bring our whole selves – and when we acknowledge that each dimension of life deserves visibility, respect, and structural support. Let’s shape a culture that reflects the reality, the complexity and the richness of our lives!
